Tennis
School

Mini tennis and level-based pathways — red, orange, green and yellow — through to competitive preparation. A historic Milan tennis school, active since 1965.

Our method

TOP SCHOOL FITP.
VAVASSORI TEAM.

Vavassori Tennis Academy · Top School, FITP's highest recognition

Through our partnership with the Vavassori Tennis Academy, TCA guides your children on a tennis journey from their very first steps to competing at the highest levels.

Groups are built by age and by level, as homogeneous as possible. Every training session combines athletic preparation and tennis, with a frequency of once, twice or three times a week.

The progression follows the FITP methodology: as the level rises the ball becomes faster and the court lengthens, up to the full court of the yellow level, combining technique, play and the values of sport to shape not only tennis players, but people. All our coaches are certified by the Italian Tennis and Padel Federation.

FAQ

Frequently asked
questions.

The recommended starting age is around 5. Coaches may assess 4-year-olds based on physical development and motor skills. Mini Tennis is organised by age, roughly from 4 to 6.

Progression follows the FITP methodology with four colour levels: red (Mini Tennis), orange, green and yellow. As the level rises the ball gets faster and the court longer, up to the full court. After the yellow level, players move into the competitive squad.

Yes, children can join courses already underway after a level assessment, subject to day and time availability. The enrolment fee is recalculated in proportion to the starting period.

Lessons missed by the student are not made up; only in special cases, such as injury or prolonged illness, can make-up sessions be agreed with the coach. If the Club suspends a lesson due to bad weather or court unavailability, it is rescheduled at the end of the course.

No, individual private lessons are not offered for children and teens. Young players can enrol in the tennis school courses during the school year and in the Summer Tennis School, which runs from June to September.

Yes, a medical certificate is mandatory for everyone enrolled in courses and must be handed in at reception before lessons begin. For non-competitive activity, a non-competitive certificate is sufficient.
